The agency of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries in Chandigarh received the Skoch SILVER Award 2023 for e-Governance for computerising medical data for livestock treated by the agency. This is the country’s first project of its kind. More specifically, Secretary Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Vinod P Kavle stated that this web-based application software caters to the Animal Husbandry Department’s five Government Veterinary Hospitals and nine Veterinary Sub-centres in Chandigarh.
